Well, Nintendo’s gonna be MAD. Yuzu announced their Nintendo Switch emulator, which seems to work. For starters, there are two versions of Yuzu; the first one is just Yuzu; you can download it for free from the Google Play Store or the Official Website. In this guide, we’ll learn How to Play Any Nintendo Switch Game.
The second one is Yuzu Early Access, which is paid but gives you a lot of new features to work with. So in this blog, we’ll talk about everything you need to do to play Nintendo Switch games on your PC and mobile, so let’s get started.
About Yuzu
First, let’s talk about Yuzu. The huge announcement took Twitter by storm, and the gaming community began raging after they discovered their mobile device wasn’t even compatible. To run Yuzu, your device must have a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor; the newer the processor, the better your game performance will be.
For example. Yuzu tested several games like Super Mario 3D World, and they discovered that the Samsung Galaxy S23, with its Snapdragon CPU, can run the game at a full 60 FPS. Contrary to that, the S20 FE with Snapdragon can give 30 fps best.
So the stronger your processor, the better games like Zelda, Pokemon, and Diablo III will run. Cooling is another important factor in Yuzu’s performance; as your device gets hotter, the performance will drop. But without further ado, let’s dive straight into how you can play any Nintendo Switch Game on both PC and mobile. Follow our guide for a quick setup.
All the links and the processes will be in our blog, which you can find in the description, so make sure to check that out as well.
Yuzu Set Up Guide
- Download and Install the Yuzu Emulator from Play Store.
2. Launch the emulator and click “Get Started” once you’re on the welcome page.
3. Now, you should grant some permissions for notification. You can allow it, but it’s optional.
4. After the permissions, you’ll be prompted to a page where it’ll ask for the Prod.keys file. You can download them here
5. Download and extract the product key using any software like 7Zip or RAR on Android.
6. You can do that by going to the File Manager > Downloads > and extracting the Product Key file.
7. Now go back to Yuzu, click “Select Keys,” and find the extracted folder of Prodkeys in download > Finally, select prod.keys.
8. Yuzu will now give you a success message on the screen. Click next.
9. Now you need to add some games. To download the games, you can use the Nintendo Switch game ROMS.
10. Once you download a game, you must extract it first and then put it in a folder called “Games” that you can put directly into your file manager’s root.
11. You can get Yuzu working quickly by putting the game in something like Internal Storage > Nintendo Switch Games.
12. Once you do that, click “Add Games,” reach the Games folder and select “Use This Folder.”
13. A popup will appear, so make sure to allow that.
14. Now click Next again and select Continue to play your favorite Nintendo Switch title on your phone.
15. You’ll see that the game will appear in the Games directory of Yuzu, and the more games you put in the Games folder, the more titles will appear here.
16. Click on the game, and you should be good to go.
17. Yuzu is one of the easiest emulators to set up on PC and Android. Adding new games is an easy feat once you can get the emulator set up.
