15. Swordigo
At number 15, we have Swordigo. In a world where platformers are dying, you can have the best experience in a fun-packed mobile game. Swordigo is more like Sonic and Mario, but the level of fun is intense. The game is long, almost never-ending for some people, but basically, you have to fight various bosses like mages, turtles, and just everything under the Sun.
Your character has a lot of power-ups, but basically, you’ll use the sword to kill your opponents and just survive for as long as you can.
I could spend hours talking about why Swordigo is one of the best offline games for Android, but you should just experience it and give it a try. You can give us a sub right now.
Final Scoring: 6/10
14. Dead Cells
At number 14, we have a special title for Dead Cells. While the game is around $8.99, you know everything is possible on Android, right? If you know, you know. Anyways, Dead Cells is another platformer, but the level of fun you’ll have is unreal. You can fight the enemies, choose some of the coolest characters, and just have fun killing in a frenzy, destroying your opponents.
The game just released a new storyline, has two new biomes, 9 new monsters, and 14 new weapons, which makes it my personal favorite offline game for Android.
If you can buy the game, it would be ideal because that way, you can support the developer, but I’ll also put the link in the blog down in the description. So do check it out.
Final Scoring: 6/10
13. Hollow Knight
At number 13, we have Hollow Knight, the game that doesn’t really exist on Google Play Store. Well, not for me at least. Hollow Knight takes on interesting graphics and just like the other games on our list, it is a platformer, and if you’re tired of seeing platformers, just skip to number 11, cause from there, you’ll get some of the best offline games for Android that you can enjoy.
Back to the subject, Hollow Knight is a lovely platformer that lets you fight some of the most intense demons and monsters that will make you uncomfortable every single time.
Final Scoring: 7/10
12. Castlevania: SOTN
At number 12, we have Castlevania: SOTN, a very unique title that takes you back in the 90s, no, 80s, when the graphics were super-unique. The iconic game was released on mobile and is the perfect port from classic action RPG titles.
In the game, you can jump, dash, and slash your way through Dracula’s huge castle as Alucard. On your journey, you’ll see some of the most vicious and dangerous enemies. What made SOTN on the list is simply that it’s such a legendary game and since it’s on mobile, you can enjoy the classic RPG experience.
Final Scoring: 7.5/10
11. Life is Strange
At number 11, we have Life is Strange. The game was developed by SQUARE ENIX Limited, and it’s an adventure story-type game where your character can rewind time to control her destiny. Sounds pretty fun, right? She has to make countless decisions that would impact her future in every way, shape, and form, but what’s nuts is that the game literally reacts to your choices.
The fate of your own future is in your hands, which makes Life is Strange one of my favorite offline games for Android.
The game has an amazing soundtrack featuring some of the most well-known video game artists and the graphics look perfect for a mobile game.
Final Scoring: 7.5/10
10. Batman Telltale
At number 10, we have Batman Telltale. Telltale Studio is known to make some of the highest-quality story-type adventure games, and Batman is no exception. Just like Life is Strange, the game has different Episodes and a messed-up storyline.
You’ll enter the mind of Bruce Wayne to discover some of the darkest crimes getting into Gotham. The game makes everything look similar to the movie, and you’ll love the vibe if you’re a Batman fan.
Every action of yours determines the fate of Batman, his story, and his legacy. And graphics-wise, I loved this title which just makes it a perfect game for when you’re on a vacation somewhere.
Final Scoring: 7.5/10
9. Hungry Shark Evolution
At number 9, we have another favorite of mine, Hungry Shark Evolution. If you’re ever in need of a desperate dopamine rush, you can count on this game. To sum it up, you play as a shark, hunting down different fishes and getting stronger, faster, and bigger with time.
There’s a lot of fast-paced action, and you get dozens of fish to choose from, but only when you can upgrade them. The game also offers various maps and sharks that could explore the deepest of the sea, where even the Titanic sub couldn’t go. Alright, I’m sorry. That was a joke.
Final Scoring: 7.5/10
8. Zombie Hunter: Offline Games
At number 8, we have Zombie Hunter. If you love zombies and you love destroying those annoying pests, then this game will cater to all your needs. It’s an offline shooter with crazy good graphics, some of the most beautiful-looking characters, a wide variety of guns, and zombies that would make you scream at night.
The developers of this game have already made some other zombie shooters like Dead Warfare, Dead Target, and Sniper Zombie 3D. So if you’re looking for the best zombie offline game for Android, then consider trying Zombie Hunter out.
Final Scoring: 8/10
7. Oceanhorn
At number 7, we have Oceanhorn. If there’s one game I can vouch for that will always provide you with the best possible experience, then this game will make that list. The game is very unique. You wake up and find a letter from your father. HE. IS. GONE!! The only lead is his old notebook and a mysterious necklace.
Now, you must become the sea captain and a land conqueror to find clues, fight some of the most dangerous opponents, and unravel the mysteries of the ancient Kingdom Arcadia. In the game, you might also encounter a sea monster called Oceanhorn, so there’s a lot of arcade fun waiting for you.
Final Scoring: 8/10
6. Limbo
At number 6, we have Limbo. Legend has it that Limbo is as close to perfect at what it does as a game can get. That was said by Destructoid, a channel that I absolutely respect. But other than that, what’s so special about a game with a million-plus downloads and a loyal fanbase?
Well, everything from its storyline, gameplay, and soundtrack to the eerie vibe is something that any game would love. It is easily one of the most epic offline games for Android right now.
Final Scoring: 8/10
5. Street of Rage 4
At number 5, we have Street of Rage 4. This game takes on traditional graphics and fighting style and gives you the best retro beat-em-up experience with hand-drawn comic-inspired graphics and unique mechanics.
You can use weapons, punches, kicks, and special attacks to fight some of the most intense battles while making sure that you beat the highest quality possible people. To say the least, the game has amazing retro-inspired graphics with different modes like story, training, and arcades, but with over 12 retro characters, you’ll love the experience.
Final Scoring: 8.5/10
4. The GTA Series
At number 4, we have the Grand Theft Auto series. Whether you play GTA 3, GTA Vice City, China Town, or San Andreas, all of these games are just perfect. I’ll link each of them in the blog so you can check them out.
I personally love San Andreas because it takes you on a long journey with some of the most interesting missions you’d find. Vice City is also amazing as it’s more fast-paced and unique. GTA 3 might be the perfect one for you because it’s probably lesser known than the other two.
So, if you’re going on a long trip, then the GTA series will keep you entertained.
Final Scoring: 8.5/10
3. Cover Fire: Offline Shooting
At number 3, we have Cover Fire. I feel like shooting games are very underrated, especially the offline ones. Cover Fire doesn’t get enough credit for how good it is. In the game, you can build your own team and go into a wildfire and other maps to destroy beasts, people, and some of the most interesting monsters.
There are many, many weapons to choose from, and the graphics are just insane. The game works with a very responsive mechanic, which will make you spend hours without even knowing where all that time went.
Final Scoring: 9/10
2. GRID Autosport: Custom Edition
At number 2, we have GRID Autosport. There are two versions of GRID on the Play Store. One is free, and the other one is paid. But knowing your brokies, I decided to review the Custom Edition, which is free. OKAY GUYS! THAT WAS A JOKE, PLEASE DON’T UNSUB. Or I’ll get broke.
Anyways, GRID is the perfect blend between simulation and arcade handling, and the customization options are just insane. You can also pay the developers for some additional content packs, where you’ll be able to enjoy the full experience. But honestly, just look at the graphics. Doesn’t it look IN FREAKIN’ SANE?
Final Scoring: 10/10
1. Grimvalor
Finally, at number 1, we have Grimvalo. Now, this is a game I spent hours and hours figuring out a boss fight. But since I was in another city, thinking about how to spend my time, it was all worth it.
This indie title gives you a strong character who must fight opponents WAY out of his league, especially the bosses from the game. The controls are as cool as it gets, and you have to slash multiple enemies, solve puzzles, and move through the intimidating world of Grimvalor and solve various mysteries.
Final Scoring: 10/10
